Relatively clean around the baseball and basketball areas, kiddie park too but as a whole could use a sprucing up, grass cutting, coat of paint; Courts could used some sealant. Can't speak on the night activities, not my town. Recycling bins nearby even though enclosed leaves a lot to be desired for a play area. I'm speaking on an area 2 blocks long, the whole complex. Kiddie park has some issues to fix and upgrade but for its general location near borough building/police station (if they're on duty) I suppose is a plus. I wouldn't spend hours here with small children not in sport league. Update: Children's playground section renovated by Girardville borough with help from Lowe's as of Sept. 2017 with mulch, paint, new fencing, etc. Will have to check it out again.
